What does it take?
A Navi-Care contractor is expected to be a reliable, compassionate, licensed professional who provides excellent client care, maintains confidentiality, operates independently and ethically, follows care plans and agency standards, and supports Navi-Care's mission of improving clients' quality of life at home.
Client Care
• Provide services according to each client's care plan.
• Deliver care professionally and ethically, while maintaining their dignity with each task.
• Support clients and families with a person-centered, positive approach.
• Follow agency policies, professional standards, and all applicable laws.
Professional Standards
• Maintain all required nursing licenses, certifications, and credentials.
• Protect client privacy and maintain strict confidentiality.
• Communicate respectfully and professionally with clients, families, providers, and pharmacy personnel.
• Serve as a positive representative of Navi-Care and its values.
Safety & Boundaries
• Do not transport clients in your personal vehicle or the client's vehicle.
• Work within your professional scope of practice.
• Maintain appropriate professional boundaries at all times.
• Keep records and documentation professional and timely.
Loyalty & Business Ethics
• Do not solicit or take Navi-Care clients for private business.
• Do not recruit other Navi-Care contractors away from the agency.
• Protect company information and proprietary business practices.
• Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with the agency and its clients.
